“All for all” in the Zolder final for Thomas Krasonis
The time has come for the grand final of the NASCAR Euro Whelen. The Zolder circuit, in Belgium, hosts this season’s finals on the weekend of 12-13 October, which – like the semi-finals – offer double points to the winners and at the same time the chance for big upsets!
Thomas Krasonis, the first Greek professional racing driver, is already on the Belgian circuit, where the seventh and final race weekend of this season’s EuroNASCAR will take place.
In the Zolder final, the points won by each driver will count double. Together with the bonus points for the most positions gained by a driver during a race, they offer the possibility for each driver to accumulate a maximum of 176 points in the EuroNASCAR Finals.
The Zolder circuit is 4.011 kilometres long and opened its doors in 1963. The weekend’s racing programme starts with qualifying which will take place on Saturday at 11.00 a.m.. The first races in both the PRO category (at 3.00 p.m.) and category 2 (at 5.50 p.m.) will be held on Saturday.
On Sunday, the EuroNASCAR 2 drivers will start their second race at 12.25 p.m., to conclude the weekend’s programme with the PRO category race at 3.05 p.m..
We recall that Thomas Krasonis is participating this year in both EuroNASCAR categories, EuroNASCAR 2 and EuroNASCAR PRO, with the team with which in 2023 he made the big step in his racing career, Marko Stipp Motorsport.
Thomas is driving the number “46” Chevrolet Camaro at all the Championship tracks this year, following a full schedule.
All the action of each race weekend can be followed through the EuroNASCAR YouTube channel
