Back in action for Thomas Krasonis!
Thomas Krasonis is back in action after more than two months! The first Greek professional racing driver is in the Czech Republic, where the fourth double race of this year’s NASCAR Euro Series championship will take place this weekend.
The cancellation of the Dutch race at the Venray oval track meant that action was put on hold for more than two months. But after the summer break, it’s time for the drivers to put their racing suits back on and line up at the Most track for the fourth race weekend of 2025.
The Czech race is held every year at the iconic Autodrom Most and is a celebration of the best European racing. From the V8s of the NASCAR Euro Series to the spectacular races of the FIA European Truck Racing Championship, the race weekend has a lot to offer.
Tens of thousands of fans will fill the stands at the 4.212 meter track with 21 turns for four exciting NASCAR races in a weekend full of intense excitement.
After the first six races of the season in Spain, Italy, and Great Britain, Thomas Krasonis is third in the PRO category standings with 194 points, 18 points behind leader Vittorio Ghirelli and 12 points behind Gianmarco Ercolli. In the Juniors classification, he is joint leader with Paul Jouffrau!
In the OPEN category, Krasonis is in 5th place in the standings with 183 points, with leader Melvin De Groot on 199. In the team standings, Krasonis is sixth with 84 points.
Thomas Krasonis is participating in both categories of the NASCAR Euro Series again this year, PRO and OPEN, driving the Chevrolet Camaro with the number “13” of the top team in the Championship, the Belgian PK Carsport, in all races.
Thomas Krasonis’ efforts in the NASCAR Euro Series are supported by Costamare Shipping Company and Dodoni Dairy, while medical coverage is provided by the Athens Medical Group.
