Krasonis: “We are ready for the final”
As always, Thomas Krasonis has been preparing intensively for the season finale in Belgium. After the race in Germany, the 23-year-old driver traveled to Zolder, where he tested under the guidance of Alon Day in order to be fully prepared for the big “final” of the year.
“When the season started, one of my big dreams was to win a title at the end of it. This long journey has brought us one step closer to achieving that goal today. Being at the top of the OPEN standings is certainly very important, as we only have two days of racing left to complete the Championship, but we have to do exactly what we did in the previous races so that on Sunday evening we can take stock of the season and have in our hands what all of us in this team want,” said Thomas Krasonis.
He added: “This is not the time for big talk, but only for driving. We went to Zolder last week to do some testing, everything went well, we saw a lot of things with my coach Alon Day, and we are ready to face the big challenge of the final.”
He concluded by emphasizing once again that “I want to thank once again everyone who is by my side. My sponsors, Costamare and Dodoni, Alon Day, who has helped me a lot in recent months to develop as a driver, my trainer Paul Timbas, my family who supports me, my friends, and of course my team, PK Carsport.”
